Wedding for 20+ guests in Georgia
If you want to do more than simply get legally married in Georgia and bring your closest people together here – parents, friends, brothers, and sisters – I will help you turn your wedding into a full experience for everyone. I’m Wedding planner Elina, and I organize weddings for 20+ guests in Tbilisi, Kakheti, the Georgian mountains (Kazbegi and Gudauri), as well as on the Black Sea coast in Batumi. I will find a venue that genuinely suits you and your guests, take care of accommodation, transfers, the team, and every detail of the wedding day – so you can be the main characters of your celebration rather than the people organizing it. Tell me what you envision for your wedding, and I’ll show you how we can bring your idea to life in Georgia.
Why Georgia is ideal for a wedding with guests
When 20–50 people are traveling to a wedding, the country needs to work not only for a beautiful ceremony but also for a comfortable stay for everyone. Georgia is particularly convenient for this: you can easily combine the wedding itself with guest accommodation, food and wine experiences, and a short trip – while choosing a celebration format that feels completely your own.
- A wide choice of venues in different styles. In Tbilisi, you can have an elegant city wedding; in Kakheti, a celebration surrounded by vineyards or at a winery; in Kazbegi and Gudauri, a wedding with panoramic views of the Caucasus Mountains; and in Batumi, a celebration by the Black Sea.
- There is plenty for guests to do before and after the wedding. The itinerary can include walks around Tbilisi, wine tastings, gastronomic dinners, a trip to Kakheti, or an excursion into the mountains. This means your guests are not coming just for a few hours for the ceremony – they get to experience Georgia as part of the trip.
- A large group can stay in one place. For weddings with 20+ guests, hotels, resorts, wine chateaus, and countryside venues are especially convenient. Everyone can stay nearby, meet for breakfast, and keep the celebration going after the official part of the day.
- You don’t have to limit the celebration to a single wedding day. I can create a multi-day format with a welcome dinner, the main wedding day, and a brunch or guest trip after the celebration. This works particularly well when loved ones are flying in from different countries and staying in Georgia for several days.
- The format can be adapted to different budgets. A large wedding does not necessarily mean an expensive hotel banquet. Georgia offers restaurants, wineries, resorts, private venues, and natural settings, so your budget can be allocated according to what matters most to you – whether that means investing more in the venue and décor, the guest experience, or the wedding dinner.
This is what I take into account when planning a wedding with a larger number of guests: not simply where to place the ceremony arch, but how to make the entire experience comfortable – how your guests will get to Georgia, where they will stay, what they will do, and how you can spend these few days together.
Where in Georgia can you have a wedding with 20 or more guests?
I know how differently a wedding needs to be planned when 20, 30, or even 50 people are flying to Georgia with you. It is no longer enough to find a beautiful venue: your guests need somewhere comfortable to stay, an easy way to get to the venue, a place to gather for dinner, and the opportunity to spend several days together without constantly moving between different hotels and restaurants.
That is why I immediately rule out venues that look beautiful in photos but are not practical for a large group, and instead suggest options with the right infrastructure for your guests.
| Venue | Region | Why it works well for a wedding with guests |
| Lopota Lake Resort | Kakheti | A large resort with 310 rooms, several restaurants, and event spaces. A large group can stay on the same property, making it possible to build a full wedding program around the celebration. |
| Tsinandali Estate | Kakheti | A historic estate offering several formats for celebrations, from intimate dinners to large events. The amphitheater can accommodate up to 700 guests, and there is accommodation on the property. |
| Chateau ArtWine | Kakheti | A winery venue with a hotel and several options for wedding celebrations. It can accommodate weddings for 50+ guests without requiring the group to move to another venue during the day. |
| Vazisubani Estate | Kakheti | An elegant estate with 19 rooms, a restaurant for up to 80 guests, a garden, and a terrace. Particularly well suited to intimate weddings for 20–40 people when you want your closest guests to stay together while maintaining a sense of privacy. |
| Zuzumbo Resort & Spa | Telavi, Kakheti | A resort with a main building and separate chalets, including double, triple, and family accommodation options. A practical choice for groups traveling with children. |
| Rooms Hotel Kazbegi | Kazbegi | 155 rooms and event spaces, with banquet seating for up to 120 guests in one of the halls. One of the options that allows you to combine a mountain wedding, accommodation, and the wedding program in one place. |
| Marco Polo Gudauri | Gudauri | 123 rooms and more than 200 beds, with several halls and restaurant spaces. Suitable both for smaller weddings and larger groups looking for a full resort experience. |
| Gudauri Lodge | Gudauri | 121 rooms, a restaurant, and event spaces accommodating up to 180 guests. A good option if you want a mountain wedding without having to split your guests between different hotels. |
| Monograph Freedom Square | Tbilisi | 36 rooms and a separate private event space for up to 80 guests. Suitable for a city wedding where some or all of the guests can stay at the same hotel. |
Remember that guest comfort is a major part of a successful wedding: when everyone has a convenient place to stay, easy transportation, and opportunities to spend time together, you can fully immerse yourself in your own celebration.
Tell me how many guests you are planning to invite and what kind of wedding you have in mind. I’ll suggest several venues that genuinely fit your plans and your guests, and explain the differences between them.
Why you need Wedding planner Elina for a wedding in Georgia with guests
A wedding for 20 or more guests is already a small trip for an entire group, and that is exactly how I approach it. I create the concept and choose a venue based not only on your ceremony, but also on the number of guests, their accommodation, transfers, and the itinerary for several days. I bring all these details together from the start, so you do not have to separately look for hotels for your parents, transportation for your friends, a restaurant for the welcome dinner, and dozens of vendors in a country you do not know.
My job is to make sure you can focus on your wedding, not on organizing it. I handle communication with venues and vendors, guest coordination, and the wedding day itself, while you can simply come to Georgia and enjoy this time with the people who matter most to you.
If you are planning a wedding in Georgia for 20 or more guests, tell me about your group, your dates, and the kind of celebration you have in mind. I’ll suggest suitable venues and put together a wedding experience that feels comfortable and enjoyable for both you and your guests. Message me on WhatsApp or Telegram, or submit an inquiry through the website – let’s start bringing your ideas to life!
