Hillside wedding in Kiketi (near Tbilisi)

Pavel and Anastasia, citizens of Ukraine and Russia, wanted a beautiful natural setting close to Tbilisi. They were also looking for a venue with varied cuisine where they could celebrate without closing the entire property.

With the guests staying in Tbilisi, convenient transport to and from the venue was an important part of the planning.

Wedding day details

The wedding brought together 40 guests. The couple completed the official marriage ceremony at the Tbilisi House of Justice, followed by a symbolic ceremony at the venue in Kiketi. Their documents were prepared with apostilles and translated into English.

The day was brought to life by a team of wedding professionals, including:

• Hair and makeup artist
• Photographer
• Videographer
• Bilingual master of ceremonies, hosting in Russian and English
• DJ

Kiketi is about an hour’s drive from Tbilisi, making it a lovely option for a celebration surrounded by nature while remaining accessible to guests staying in the city. We arranged group transport to the venue and back to Tbilisi after the celebration.

Pavel and Anastasia are young, cheerful and energetic. Their guests came from different countries, so we chose a master of ceremonies who could host the programme in both Russian and English, helping everyone feel included and follow what was happening.

The main weather-related concern was rain. The wedding dinner was planned for a covered greenhouse, while the symbolic ceremony was to take place outdoors. With rain forecast throughout the day, we prepared a nearby greenhouse as a backup ceremony location. This meant the weather would not affect the guests’ comfort or the flow of the celebration.

Careful planning, convenient transport and a thoughtful backup plan helped the couple enjoy their wedding day with peace of mind.
