Outdoor wedding at ArtWine (Kakheti)

Diana and Andrey, citizens of Ukraine and Germany, wanted a beautiful outdoor celebration surrounded by nature and vineyard views. They were looking for a venue where they could enjoy dinner outside, receive attentive service and celebrate with their guests without having to close the entire property.

Having a reliable backup plan in case of rain was also important to the couple.

Wedding day details

The celebration took place at ArtWine in Kakheti, with an outdoor ceremony conducted by a registrar. The couple’s documents were prepared with apostilles and translated into German.

The wedding was designed as an intimate celebration for up to 35 guests. ArtWine was a wonderful fit: the couple could host their event without closing the entire hotel, while still enjoying the venue’s scenic surroundings and views of the vineyards.

The day was brought to life by a team of wedding professionals, including:

• Photographer
• Videographer
• Master of ceremonies
• DJ

Diana and Andrey are young, active and full of energy. They wanted their wedding programme to include plenty of entertainment and interactive activities. Our goal was to find the right balance, making sure guests had time not only to take part, but also to relax, chat and enjoy the atmosphere.

Together with the couple, we chose the activities that mattered most. The welcome area featured a wedding newspaper, themed crossword puzzles, thoughtful details and props for photographs. This made the programme engaging without making it feel overcrowded.

The preparations and wedding day ran smoothly thanks to careful planning. The weather was the one thing we couldn’t control: rain was forecast, so we prepared a backup plan in advance. The ceremony could be postponed if needed, umbrellas were available for guests, and the outdoor dinner could be moved inside the building.

Fortunately, the rain held off, and the celebration went ahead as planned. The result was a modern, lively and personal wedding that reflected the couple’s character and gave guests plenty of opportunities to have fun and
connect with one another.
