Wedding on top of the World (Gudauri & Kazbegi)

The couple’s main priority was to celebrate their wedding surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery, which made Gudauri the ideal choice for their special day.

Wedding day details

The wedding was designed as an intimate celebration for just six people — the couple and four of their closest guests. Despite the small number of attendees, the event was supported by a full team of experienced wedding professionals to ensure the highest level of organisation and service.

The team included:

• professional hair and makeup artist;
• photographer;
• videographer;
• master of ceremonies;
• DJ;
• violinist who provided live music during the ceremony;
• five-member live band.

There is only one road leading to Gudauri. Any accident or vehicle breakdown can bring traffic to a complete standstill and prevent vendors from reaching the venue on time.

On the wedding day, everything we had anticipated happened: the weather took a turn for the worse, and a broken-down vehicle caused a major traffic jam. However, we had prepared a Plan B in advance. The wedding dinner was moved from the terrace indoors, and the schedule had been planned with enough extra time to accommodate possible delays.

Thanks to careful preparation and contingency planning, the wedding went beautifully. All the vendors were able to complete their work on time, the entire programme went ahead as planned, and the couple were delighted with their special day.
